I bought a pair of eyeglass bifocal. My insurance paid and in addition I paid $200.00 out of pocket. I purchased anti glare and anti scratch with a new frame in 2017 in July or Baronial. Now in about xiv months the glass has lost anti scratch/anti glare, and see spots on both the glass. Having trouble seeing, on acme of that the frame has lost its coating that touches my face up.

I went to the store. The saleswoman said: "They exercise not provide any warranty on eyeglasses and frame", they cover warranty for one year with additional 25 dollar? Commonly all union pays once every two years and I believe my glass is covered for ii years? I want a refund so that I can buy from other store? About four and a half years ago, November 2013, I did business concern with Cohen's Manner Optical (at the upper westward side shop, West 114th street and Broadway, in Manhattan, New York) to take lens put on my new, rimless, Christian Dior eyeglasses frames. The Christian Dior frame costed me about $450 each. They did a very bad task, plus losing both demo lenses of the Christian Dior frame, rendering the CD frame to be useless. After spending a lot of my time and endeavor with Cohen's and many unsatisfactory responses from the store, I eventually had to sue them at the modest claims courtroom in Harlem, New York. In Feb 2014, the court granted me the judgement in my favor with the total amount, $938.00. Cohen's Fashion Optical sent me a cheque of $520.00 and failed to pay me the remainder of the judgement amount, $418.00.

I contacted this Cohen's shop at W114 Street and Broadway which told me to contact their headquarter'southward customer service and provided me with the telephone number. Numerous times I called but that phone only had an answering machine hooked on. Despite leaving them numerous messages and time spent, Cohen's never returned my calls nor paid me the remaining remainder of the court sentence they endemic me.

And so I had to spend coin and hired the New York Align'southward Part to chased later on Cohen'southward. The Align'south Role chased after Cohen's numerous times but Cohen'south continued failing to pay. The Marshal'due south part told me the side by side step they could exercise would be going to Cohen's shop and took their goods. But such service would cost me at least two grand dollars. That doesn't seem like a proficient choice for me, so I declined. Then I returned to the Harlem Court spending my time and paying additional court fees to proceed with court procedures trying to collect this remaining balance.

To this appointment, June 11th, 2018, more than 4 years and 2 months afterwards the courtroom judgement, Cohen'due south Fashion Optical still failed to pay me the remaining rest of the judgement amount. If a company doesn't even follow the court'south social club, volition you want to practise business with such company??? I definitely won't. I had an date for a DMV centre test that takes less than v minutes. Received many texts confirming the time of the appointment except when I arrived the 'optometrist' was also busy filing prescriptions to see clients. He thinks it is ok to take people wait just I think my time is every bit valuable as his. The poor guy, and then insecure, so hostile, such a chip on his shoulder. When I complained about the wait, he could not control his anger. Ultimately would non serve me considering of his perceived bug with ** privilege. If you can't deal with people, don't get a people job. This man is a liability to the concern and to himself. Skilful riddance.

Six weeks ago I had an center's exam in one of the Cohen's stores and until today I still don't have glasses. They are redoing spectacles for the third time. On a top of everything, they damaged the frame. S T A Y A Due west A Y F R O M C O H Eastward Northward!!!

I bought a Groupon deal from this company for "an middle exam with 300$ Credits towards frame and lenses" (which looked and so bonny and so much as it looks) and chosen them to brand an appointment. They said I still demand to pay at least l$ just to take an eye exam and demand to pay extra 100 for spectacles. And then overall 150$ at to the lowest degree. Thinking that I wouldn't pay for either my center-examination and spectacles under 300$, I found this shocking and disappointed in the service. My friendly advice: DON'T BELIEVE IN GROUPON DEALS FROM THIS COMPANY. I don't know how many people got deceived by such deals and I'm surprised how this company makes profit role of its profits from misinforming and baiting people to get their deceiving deals. Shame!

Staff and medico were nice and did a skilful job, simply overcharged me on contacts and gave me a receipt for rebate program that Acuvue (which makes its rebate as complicated, tedious and mostly not worthwhile) would non honor. Could take gotten lens cheaper at DR.

I ordered glasses from this store on June 12, 2017, and was told they would be ready for me by Fri, June 16th. This was of import to me, since I will be going out of town this week. Although I take always had a skillful experience in this item store, 667 Lexington Ave, the person I normally bargain with was on vacation. So the "boss" waited on me, interspersing our contact with several phone calls on his cell phone. He stated he would telephone call me when the spectacles were prepare. Since I received no call, I went into the store today, Monday June 19th. A young woman looked through all the drawers but could not find them.

Finally, she looked in the original tray, and there were the frames with my prescription, but no work had been done on them. I then requested a refund of my $200 and said I would accept to get them fabricated where I was traveling to. The "boss" refused, maxim they were just waiting for the lenses to come in. I did not believe that lenses had even been ordered, then I stated that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company, which I accept washed. Despite the convenience of this store to my apartment, I will not be using them again. Information technology used to exist a pretty crowded store, but at present not so much. I think that the "boss" needs better supervision!

I saw a Groupon for Cohen's Fashion Optical that included an eye exam and $300 for an eye exam. Before I purchased the Groupon, I chosen the store and was told that designer eyeglasses varied in price from $100 to thousands of dollars. I asked if I would exist able to buy something nether $300 and was told yep. I bought the Groupon and made an engagement. When I got to the store, Cohen'south refused to laurels the Groupon proverb that I would need to spend a minimum of $187 on peak of the $300 credit on the Groupon. In that location was a sign at the door that said eyeglasses started at $99 only they said that was not available for Groupon users. This bait and switch tactics should be illegal. Be warned, don't practise business concern with Cohen'south Style Optical!!!

Saturday Apr 8, 2017 approximately 1:00 pm. At Smith Haven Mall NY. I went into Cohen's Way Optical in search of new eyeglass lenses and heard of their auction advertised on TV. I was approached past a salesperson Cara. She asked me if I had AARP or AAA. I said yes and she said that I would receive a 30% discount. I told her I was not feeling well she offered me a chair but I turned it downwards because the counter was so high and I would be embarrassed being the just person in this small shop sitting, especially in the walkway.

I inquired about lenses and different qualities and their deviation forth with pricing but she became bellyaching by my lack of agreement of her vague information. She was intimidating me as if I was stupid, I had to mention to her several times that I was a bit wearisome due to non feeling well. Nevertheless she was in a hurry and pushing me to make a decision past her public display and creating a scene of impatience to everyone in the small-scale store about how stupid I was. I admit I was not feeling well I asked her to please accept patience with me. I paid for the club because, like most people I just wanted the interrogation-similar corruption to end. Yes I was in a weak condition and she was determined to close the deal. I left the store thinking in my mind what just happened.

This past January I had progressive lenses made at Cohen's at the Treasure Coast Mall in Jensen Beach Florida (I was on holiday and did not take enough fourth dimension before deviation to use my local and usual eyeglass vendor.). The lenses were distorted when washed. I was told that this may happen due to the fact that individual differences can occur and result in redoing the lenses. I had to wait an additional two weeks for the redo. When request to use my insurance I was told that the price when using insurance would exist $180 (versus the $149 I was charged). This would mean, at the 20% coverage I would have to pay $160 so the $149 was better.

I am now dwelling. I had my sunglass lenses redone at my local vendor. When asked about these problems I was told that Cohen's probably made the spectacles incorrectly and not that private differences employ. My vendor charges the same price regardless of using insurance or not. I would not recommend the Treasure Coast Mall Cohen's. I have used Cohen's locally and have had good results with this franchise.

Cohen's Fashion Optical's Customer Service Department has been supremely negligent with regards to my inquiries apropos the post-obit - all of which I've tried to get them to respond to. I later learned, through net searches, that some of what occurred with my purchase there are actual violations of consumer protection laws. I am non a lawyer, nor take I consulted i. But enough red flags went upward that I am warning the public on this.

i) I did not receive a consummate, itemized receipt at the time of my transaction. After my several attempts, I finally received 1 on January xvi, 2017 - 8 weeks post-obit my purchase which occurred on November 16, 2016. When I asked why they didn't give me one at time of purchase, they said they did not event one "due to the all-encompassing timing such procedures require."

2) They charged me and delivered to me a production that I did NOT gild. At the time of my purchase of 2 eyeglasses, nosotros discussed the possibility of adding a year's supply of eye contacts to my club. I was unsure, however, of what exactly I wanted at that time and, to help my decision, they sent me home with some tester contacts to try. Information technology turns out they really wrote the cost of those contacts on a split charge slip, ordered them and charged me $696.80; this separate charge slip was non readily apparent during the time of my purchase - if it had, I would have been alerted to it and stopped the unwanted lodge.

On December 28, 2016, I called Cohen's to permit them know that i of the arms of my glasses came off and I would similar to know if they could gear up them. I was told to bring them in, that they would let me know if they could be fixed. If not they would have to see if my insurance would cover a replacement pair. I told Nikki that I had already called my insurance, and that I am covered for replacements, if lost or cleaved etc. Nikki/Renee (manager) just glanced at my glasses and told me they can't be stock-still, then Renee told me she was not going to give me the same frame. "Yous can't get those frames with your insurance." Renee went to the back, came dorsum out and told me that my insurance said that I had to selection a dissimilar frame (all of which was a lie, because I called my insurance to written report the manager and the way I was treated, my insurance told me that Renee didn't call them as she said).

I told Renee, that I was going to report her, to corporate, she said "Well adept luck with that." Needless to say that I did study her to Chrissy **, in charge of complaints, etc, I even wrote a letter of the alphabet to the President/CEO, Robert Cohen, of Cohen'south Fashion Optical, to no avail. Cohen's lied to my insurance and even faxed in a falsified copy showing that the frame that I had from the get-go was a (Jubilee Burgundy/Crystal frame) when the frame that I was offered from the starting time was a (Tiffany Burgundy/Crystal frame) of which I sent pictures of my original frame to my insurance to show the frame that I had, but to no avail.

Every bit of today's engagement, I am yet without glasses and suffering from headaches, as I need glasses for all of my daily doings, reading, watching telly, estimator apply, etc. I will take this matter to the media, too as contacting a lawyer if need exist. I co-paid 40 dollars for my eye exam from Cohen'south Optical. I just got a bill from my health insurance. They charged my health insurance $805 dollars for an eye test when I needed to get contacts. I owe $250.00 of that $805. The terminal time I went to Cohen's without insurance, they gave me the same service for Complimentary if I bought contacts from them. They are a bunch of CROOKS. This is insurance fraud. I was literally at the location for an hr and somehow they performed 8 tests?

I took my frames in looking to get new lenses put in. They charged an exorbitant corporeality, refused to give me a impress out of what they were providing and when I cancelled the order less than 24 hours later, taking my frames back, they said they'd already ordered the lenses. They could not perhaps have because my frames were still in the shop and they needed my frames to fit the new lenses in. They were EXTREMELY belligerent and said they don't refund. They NEVER provided any signed documentation stating their policies, only they said they'd email my receipt. I All the same haven't received anything. This is a fraudulent company.

The prices overall are very very proficient and I highly recommend them to the consumer. Their prices are very very low compared to others on the market. The eyeglasses are exceptionally fabricated and well designed for the consumer. They are of the highest quality and very affordable too. Because they are so well designed the quality speaks for itself. The delivery time of my eyeglasses was quick inside 24 hours. I was very pleased with the delivery time and the exceptional customer service that I got from the company. Very satisfied with the company itself. They take a wide variety of eyeglass wear for the consumer in many different shapes and models and colors. The quality is infrequent to anybody else on the market that I establish and I highly recommend them.

I clothing glasses and this place is wonderful! I wouldn't buy my spectacles anywhere else! All the glasses are reasonably priced for whatever budget! Great customer care! The quality of the glasses is astonishing! My spectacles are lightweight yet sturdy. And fit dandy! I selection upwards my glasses I don't have them delivered. I have worn glasses most of my life. They have a great selection of glasses to choose from. I have a difficult time choosing which spectacles I want!

The staff has been wonderful and the quality of eyeglasses has been always upwardly to standards in my eyes. All of my children utilise their services around the Manhattan areas. Keep upward the peachy piece of work and services. I received peachy customer service and had all my needs for an excellent pair of spectacles solved. There were many options to choose from and I have no complaints. I was able to get two pairs of glasses for a reasonable price, from peachy employees.

I bankrupt my glasses and there was no way to repair them. I walked into Cohen's and it couldn't accept been better. Mel, the manager, was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. And if you aren't sure what style would work - he has a good center and offers great suggestions. They have a nice range of frames and they can create the spectacles pretty quickly. Glad I went. Their service was fast, friendly and very adequately priced. I am very happy with their services and will happily return. Enthusiastically recommended.

I got some really prissy glasses for a actually fair price. I'm very happy with them. They also throw in lots of extras like lens cleaner, wipes, and cases. And they transport me regular updates almost when I demand eye exams. Fantastic frames. I wear my glasses all day every day, so it'southward important to me that they look skilful and brand a argument about who I am. They had a wide range of styles and brands and very reasonable prices. So I'm very happy with my selection. I tin't say it's perfect considering it wasn't out of the ordinary in any way, just ordering was simple and the package arrived on fourth dimension, undamaged. Actually actually pleased with the selection they had. I never know what I want until I've tried on a million pairs and taken selfies with all of them, and then texted the selfies to friends to be sure. And so it actually takes a broad pick to brand me happy and I was satisfied.

My insurance covered this cost. I am non certain of the actual price if you lot pay out of pocket. I only had a twenty$ copay. Amazing customer service, quick and accurate. I was in and out in a cakewalk! Very sturdy and durable spectacles. I am nevertheless wearing them as we speak no issues and then far. I recommend giving them a attempt if your insurance covers it. You will non be disappointed! Many glasses to choose from, all kinds of various styles and shapes. Had what I needed in stock and I had many to choose from. I bought a pair of designer frames that were only most 150$. The service was great and the frames were high quality very durable. I highly recommend them to everyone. I love them. They were pinkish and dejection Michael Kors. They oasis't scratched or cleaved. And I have dropped them many times and they still wait like new. They were very fast and friendly. My glasses were ready in ii days which because they frames was very fast. They worked as fast as they could to get them washed rapidly. They had a huge multifariousness of frames to choose from. Every color you can imagine and all types of frames and designer frames to choose from.

The glasses I purchased were fairly cheap. I received lots of help in deciding which pair I wanted, and my lenses were made in a very timely manner. Not simply was the service expedient, but the quality of the frames was impeccable. The lenses were the correct prescription, and the frame was exactly the pair I ordered. My glasses, which I placed an order to receive, were delivered to me in a very timely fashion. I ordered them on a Thursday, and they arrived at the medico's office past Saturday afternoon. The variety of available frames was very impressive. There must accept been over one hundred unlike pairs on display, and it took me about thirty minutes to look through them and brand a selection.

I bankrupt my glasses and I take to buy new ones. They were the ones that plow in the sun. But luckily for me they didn't toll a lot because they were on sale. When I bought them they barely turned in the sunday like my old ones did. But they worked. When I got abode the things the concur upwards the glasses up bankrupt. I order it at the store. About a week before I left. I went home changed and went food shopping later on that. The box was at my front door. It was very dissimilar from the balance but they did what I needed them to do. And they were but black with tinted spectacles with borders around them.

If you lot desire a quality pair of glasses at a great cost this is the place to become. A broad choice to cull from all at a great price. Why look anywhere else? The quality is fantabulous. The fashion is on fleek, the price is outstanding, the people are bully, the doctor is experienced. What more than tin can be said? The delivery was on fourth dimension in a very professional manner. They chosen me when my glasses were fix. They made sure I was satisfied before I left. The variety was bully. A lot of styles and style and all the colors of the rainbow. Choosing was actually kind of difficult because they had and so much to choose from.

Information technology was reasonable to go there. Prices were inexpensive. Some were non. Typical of a spectacles and contacts place. So what you lot would look. I would say plan to spend 200 at least. The quality was good. You can apply your prescription you get anywhere. The people were nice. I mean practise what makes you happy or satisfied with your experience. Shipping was not included. Information technology toll actress. So make sure you accept enough for that on top of regular expenses. I dear non paying for shipping. Perhaps they should do discount codes. The multifariousness is good. They accept a ton of spectacles and frames. You can cull what kind y'all want which is always a plus I must say, if you like that.

Prices were very affordable. There were many great styles to choose from at great prices. I would recommend them for anyone looking for fashionable eyewear that doesn't break the banking concern. The highest quality products are offered here. The frames and lenses are durable and withstand everyday use very well. I accept a peachy success in finding the correct lenses at groovy quality. Shipping was fast and secure. Never once was there an event in getting my club on fourth dimension and safely. The shipping costs are very affordable and the quick shipping is useful when I need things quickly. Excellent variety. So much to cull from and so many affordable options. I have never had and then much to choose from to observe my ideal look.

Skillful fit, quality lenses bifocals. Frames and lenses are warrantied. They gave me the glasses. I paid for them. They fit fine, run into expert. They have thousands of frames to choose from. I was satisfied with the price. I could have bought similar elsewhere for cheaper than I paid just I think it was more the experience than annihilation else mainly. The quality and toll go paw in mitt. I am a firm believer that you get what y'all pay for. I accept durable frames and lenses with a warranty guarantee. Super fast delivery. Received inside iii days of social club. Could've been 2 days but I wasn't home during delivery so I had to reschedule it. Many different options for you to choose from. They offered prices that were in my upkeep and I found information technology very helpful. They also had a very wide selection to choose from which was squeamish. From past experiences with other brands were not good but with this i it'south a keeper. I was very satisfied with the quality and I totally recommend this to anyone who is looking for great quality. I had to wait an boilerplate waiting time because I didn't option fast shipping which is not a trouble to me. The great thing is that the shopping was very fast. I ordered on Mon and got it on Friday which is good in my volume. They had a very nice pick to choose which is very good. I had a hard fourth dimension choosing a pair which I don't go to experience with some brands.
